What is Let's Get Going for Parents?

Let's Get Going (LGG) is a free 10 week healthy lifestyle programme with the aim to engage, inspire and enable children and their families to lead a healthy lifestyle.

Solutions 4 Health run LGG in schools and community settings throughout Reading, Wokingham, West Berkshire and Slough!

The LGG club includes fun workshops and games to encourage children and families achieve a healthy lifestyle.

Workshops include

  • Benefits of healthy eating and physical activity
  • Sugary Drinks
  • Food tasting and Smoothie Making
  • Family and Food

As well as a range of fun games and activities, such as:
Kick Rounders, Family Games and circuits, Parachute Games and much more!

How to join Let's Get Going?

LGG is running as a 10 week FREE afterschool club across Reading, Wokingham, West Berkshire and Slough!

  • Is your child aged 7 - 12?
  • Wants to learn how fun it is to be healthy?
  • Play great games and make new friends?
  • A parent or guardian is happy to attend the final 20 minutes of each weekly sessions to share in what the child has learnt.
